Introducing Yuandao glycidyl neodecanoate-modified acrylic resin improved paint fullness and acid-rain resistance.
The Challenge
OEM coatings suffered from gloss loss, wrinkling and acid-rain etching after prolonged outdoor exposure; the client needed better weatherability and fullness without changing application processes.
Our Solution
Yuandao F10 (glycidyl neodecanoate) was introduced into the acrylic resin, using the tertiary-carbon branch to raise crosslink density, lower surface tension and improve leveling and intercoat adhesion.
The Result
Film fullness improved and weatherability met the project's target performance.
